Science Experiments for Summer Fun

Summer is Here!

Yea! Summer is here and perhaps you have a break from school. But as I always tell you , that does not mean a break from learning and having fun with Science!

Remember your local library is a great place to get started!
Here are some libraries closest to our school and free events for you this summer !
Be sure and get your library card while you are there!

June 19-(3:00-4:30) Texas Snakes -Learn  about snakes in Texas and see some of the non-poisonous snakes found in our area;
June 24-(2;00-3:30)Texas Wildlife- Learn about wildlife in Texas

June 16 (2:30 PM--4:30 PM)show every half hour
Houston Museum of Natural Science Discovery Dome
The museum will bring a portabe full dome theatre that will surround and immerse the children with an informative show about moon, planets, stars, meteors and contellations. A free ticket will be distributed 1 hour before each show. Limited to 50 children and adults each session. 

June 17:( 3:00-3:45)Houston Family Art Young Actors Academy presents delightful musical programs .Every week will be a different theme.

June 18 : (3:00-4:00)- The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts presents fun art/craft projects for childrens of all ages. Every week is a different program .

 June 26 :(3:00-4:00) Fizz, BoomRead with Puppet Pizzazz-A fun and entertaining puppet show.

This Library is offering a summer Food Program .
Free lunches are served at this site every Tues, Wed. Thurs.  from 12pm-1pm for all youth of ages 1-18 . in the monthe of June and July 2014.
Wow free lunch and check out some great books!

This library also has many activities offered in the mornings and afternoon.
